According to SteamDB, owing to the release of the expansion, Sunbreak, MONSTER HUNTER RISE’s concurrent player count increased drastically, with a peak of 194,459 players, breaking the previous record of 134,262 players during the release of the base game.
However, the expansion currently has a rich list of bugs, including not being able to enter the game at all and in-game crushes.
