Two matches were held yesterday in the KPL Summer Split, where Hero defeated DYG 3:0 in Group A, and RW beat Fire 3:0 in Group B.
In game one of the match between Hero and DYG, initially, DYG caused some trouble for their opponent, as at four minutes, they destroyed an outer tower on the mid lane. But in a team fight at 17 minutes, Hero killed two champions while losing one, turning things around. Afterward, Hero’s Guan Yu helped his team ace DYG, securing victory in this round.
Hero Wuwei earned the MVP Award for game one of the match.
In game two, DYG had an initial advantage, but following that, in team fights, they were less favored. One pivotal moment took place at 17 minutes, when Hero’s Jing killed Shangguan Waner in 1v1, helping his team ace DYG and stand out in this round.
In game three, Hero tried to build an edge with Di Renjie on the bottom lane, but that didn’t go smoothly. The two sides were closely matched in team fights. In the decisive last team fight, Hero’s Taiyi Zhenren protected Jiuku from elimination and helped Hero kill two champions, allowing Hero to win the match.
Between RW and Fire, in game one, although Fire led in gold in the mid-game, at 17 minutes, they had a fatal mistake and suffered a loss in this round.
The second game saw RW dominate the game since the four-minute mark. In the third game, RW outperformed Fire once again, despite some back and forth in the mid-game. With three victories, RW won the match smoothly.
