Organized by People’s Daily Online, the Game’s Responsibility Forum For 2022 was held in Beijing on July 30. The vice president of People’s Daily Online, Jian Pan released the 2021-2022 Annual Report of Video Game Corporate Social Responsibility on the forum.

The report chooses 58 Chinese game corporations, assessing them in five dimensions: the overall revenue, legality, charity, influence, cultural communication and technology advancement. The consequence shows that corporations with strong community responsibility are Tencent, NetEase, HoYoverse, Perfect World, 37 Interactive Entertainment and others.
The report also suggests that the government, game associations, media and corporations should together build a healthy environment for the game industry to take responsibility. The Family Education Promotion Law should be better practiced to prevent juveniles from getting addicted to video games.
