FPX Knocked Out OMG 3:2 in the LPL Summer Playoffs

The 2022 LPL’s Summer Playoffs kicked off yesterday, and after a grueling five-game match, FPX managed to defeat OMG, with Care playing an instrumental role in the last two matches.

In game one of the match, OMG had an initial advantage in gold by the 20-minute mark. However, in a team fight following that, FPX aced OMG, allowing FPX to snowball to a victory, while FPX Summit on Aatrox earned the MVP Award.

In game two, dramatically, the two sides took turns in leading the game, and the team fights were very chaotic. In the end, OMG took the win in the lengthy 46-minute game.

In round three, OMG shanji, with his Rumble pick, dominated the top lane allowing him to build an advantage and deal high damage in team fights, helping OMG take the win in this round and lead the match 2:1.

In game four, FPX Care made a rare Yone pick, who had a brilliant performance, allowing FPX to dominate the game and bring the match to a tie 2:2.

In the decisive last game, FPX Care on Akali once again played a crucial role. At three minutes, he achieved a double kill when three champions from OMG tried to gank FPX’s two champions.

Five minutes later, FPX Care achieved another double kill. Following that, FPX didn’t give OMG much of a chance and took the win.

With a victory of 3:2, FPX advances to the next round in the Playoffs. They will compete with EDG on August 18th CEST.
