Data.ai shows that in July, the top three Chinese mobile game publishers in the Japanese market’s revenue ranking are still NetEase, HoYoverse and 37Games. Among these three publishers, NetEase ranked first with its very successful battle royal game Knives Out.

Yostar Limited also did well in July, moving up two places to fourth in the ranking. It is worth mentioning that all four of Yostar Limited's games, Arknights, Blue Archive, Mahjong Soul, and Azur Lane, were among the top 30 in the revenue ranking for Chinese mobile games in the Japanese market.

Among the top 30 in the list, Tap4Fun had the largest change, by advancing 20 spots to 28th, from its position in June. The sudden rise in ranking is mainly due to the Japanese version update of Tap4fun’s 4X strategy mobile game Kingdom Guard on July 11, which made Kingdom Guard Tap4Fun’s top-grossing game in Japan.

BiliBili Games, which was not originally in the top 30, moved up eight spots to 25th place. According to the Japanese IOS revenue ranking in July, three mobile games that were released in the Japanese market last month, including Artery Gear: Fusion, have entered the top 10 of the list.
