The current sales volume of Splatoon 3 in Japan has already reached 3.45 million copies, breaking the 1.88 million copies record set by Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Nintendo recently announced.
Official news stated that sales volume includes both physical and digital copies. According to the statistics, Splatoon 2 sold 4.08 million copies, and it should only be a matter of time for Splatoon 3 to outperform this record.
