China’s National Day Holiday is right around the corner. This year’s holiday will start from September 30 and last till October 7.
In order to control the minor’s gaming hours, Tencent and NetEase co-issued an official announcement of the restricted gaming hours for this age group (image below):
Restricted Gaming Hours
The minor will be allowed to play for one hour on the marked dates (20:00 - 21:00).
This strict regulation was initially issued by the General Administration of Press and Publication to prevent teenagers from Internet/video game addiction and was enacted in October 2019.
