The employees of a corporation located in Songjiang district, Shanghai noticed that their snack stash would run out much faster than it should. The company strengthened its security measures, and the suspect was soon caught red-handed and detained by local police.

Funny enough, the intruder was doing this for a somewhat “good cause”. Being a professional game booster, the suspect makes his living by playing on other people’s game accounts and boosting their competitive ladder rankings. His job requires him to play games for extensive hours. During the interrogation, he confessed that he did not want to play games in his rented apartment at midnight to disturb his roommates. This nearby corporate office became his temporary Net-bar - with satisfying beverages, snacks, and most importantly, free of charge.

When the night fell, he crept around in the dark and climbed through the office windows. This “Night Prowler” would averagely play games for three to four hours and left quietly before dawn. Before getting caught, he had patronized this free Net-bar over a dozen times.
