While the world is waiting for Elden Ring’s official release on Feb. 25th, a few individuals with early access to copies of the game have been broadcasting their exploration of the beautiful open-world on PS5.

Kona_guy007 streamed the game's final build yesterday on Twitch for over an hour (even fought one or two bosses!) before he got banned for copyright infringement. And according to Reddit users, Kona_guy007 was not the only guy who decided to disobey the agreement with the publisher – more than a few of the leakers were broadcasting the game on Twitch. However, they were all banned due to many complaints from angry players who did not want to be spoiled.

But the leak itself became bittersweet entertainment for some of the hardcore Souls enthusiasts because most of the leakers were apparently very clumsy at the game. They were bumping into obstacles; they did not know how to avoid the enemies, and they clearly did not know how to navigate the gameplay like a real player. While some comments describe the leak as painful to watch, others were ‘grateful’ for the badly skilled leakers who  could not proceed to further game stages.

A lot of screenshots and clips surfaced on YouTube and other platforms soon after the streams. Bandai Namco, the publisher behind Elden Ring, is trying hard to suppress the leaks at the moment by taking down most of the clips. But if you want your best Elden Ring experience, we suggest you stay away from Twitch, YouTube, or any game forums for the next week. One thing we could say about the leaked stream is that the game so far looks as awesome as it claims to be!
