Recently, BiliBili released its third quarter 2022 financial results.
In the third quarter, the average daily active users of BiliBili reached 90.3 million, an increase of 25% over the same period in 2021; the average monthly active users reached 332.6 million, an increase of 25% year-over-year; and the average monthly paying users (MPU) reached 28.5 million, an increase of 19% year-over-year.
As of October 31, the company repurchased a cumulative 329 million USD face value of convertible senior notes at market prices for a total cash spend of 247 million USD, according to the earnings report.
In addition, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chen Rui has personally purchased an additional 10 million USD worth of American Depositary Shares in the open market, as previously disclosed, reflecting his confidence in the company's future growth.
