The Callisto Protocol is having a "Mostly Negative" review on Steam right now.

This is now what everybody would have expected before the debut - the game is developed by Glen Schofield, the father of the renowned horror game Dead Space. Schofield was also a veteran of the Call of Duty development team, which was another reason why players believed in The Callisto Protocol.

Nevertheless, the long-waited horror game has failed its fans temporarily. Due to terrible performance, the game is currently almost unplayable for many players. Thousands of players are raging about the stuttering graphics and the unoptimized performance even with the lowest settings.
