According to Microsoft's Senior Director of Asia Gaming Rod Chang's LinkedIn profile page, Microsoft is building up a new team in China to help Chinese game developers access the international market and reach a wider global audience.
As one of the biggest video game companies, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s China Hero Project has supported many excellent Chinese games and developers to reach the global market, and now it seems that Microsoft has also started a similar program.
This initiative extends beyond China, Microsoft is also currently recruiting in Japan, South Korea and Africa to help local game creators. The new Microsoft development manager in Japan said he will help game developers in Japan to reach more consumers.
