Tencent Cloud has announced a price reduction for several of its core cloud products, with some product lines seeing up to a 40% reduction in price. The policy will come into effect on June 1st.
Tencent Cloud's president, Qiu Yuepeng, said the company is focusing on products and is using a range of measures, including technological innovation and supply chain integration, to provide customers with the best possible value. The reductions include a 40% reduction in price for some regional cloud server instances, an 18% reduction in LCU fees for load balancing CLB, and a 15% reduction in price for standard NAT gateways.
Additionally, Tencent Cloud's TDSQL-C serverless database will offer a resource package payment model with a 25% reduction in price compared to the same specification of a yearly or monthly package. The company's Host Security Basic Edition will also be free for all small and medium-sized enterprises, along with free asset management and one-click testing capabilities.
