The new studio's initial project involves a third-person online multiplayer action game set in a futuristic world. T-Minus Zero's establishment aligns with NetEase's goal to enlarge its internal development studios. The past year saw the company's acquisition of Quantic Dream, known for Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain, and the initiation of Nagoshi Studio led by Toshihiro Nagoshi from Sega. Moreover, NetEase has financially backed Something Wicked Games, a start-up by previous Bethesda and Obsidian Entertainment developers. This continuous expansion illustrates NetEase's aggressive strides in building a formidable presence within the gaming industry.
