Mods are a huge part of Starfield's appeal, with countless options from the quirky to the game-changing. However, using mods or console commands disables your Starfield achievements. The fix? Another mod, specifically the Baka Achievement Enabler (SFSE). This mod allows achievements to remain enabled even when using mods or console commands. It runs through the Starfield Script Extender (SFSE), providing additional functionality to the game.
This mod isn't the first of its kind; an earlier mod called Achievement Enabler tried to serve the same purpose but fell short due to compatibility issues with game updates. The creators eventually recommended switching to the Baka mod for a more stable experience. Unlike its predecessor, Baka is simpler to install and operate, thanks in part to the Starfield Script Extender.
Though mods come with their own sets of risks and glitches, the Baka Achievement Enabler has already been downloaded over 28,000 times and received positive feedback. Users have warned that using the mod might weigh on your conscience as it enables unearned achievements, but if you can live with that, it's all systems go.
