Following the massive success of Honkai: Star Rail, another gacha game is gaining traction: Reverse: 1999. This stylish deck-building RPG with a time-travel theme is making waves in Asia, boasting an all-star voice cast and eye-catching artwork that navigates pivotal moments in history, such as the swinging 60s and the Great Depression.

As the PS5 becomes an increasingly popular platform for gacha games, we reached out to developer Bluepoch to inquire about the possibility of a PS5 release. While there are no immediate plans, a representative hinted that a PS5 port "could be on the table in the future." Given the performance of HoYoverse titles on PlayStation, this seems like a logical next step.

Having sampled the first few hours of gameplay, it's clear that Reverse: 1999 could transition smoothly to a console format. Predominantly a visual novel, the game also includes a card-based combat system. Its standout art and audio would certainly benefit from the grandeur of a larger screen, fueling anticipation that the game will make its way to Sony’s console sooner rather than later.
