The latest data reveals that by October 2023, these 82 gaming titans had amassed a combined revenue exceeding 220 billion USD, affirming their continued dominance in the gaming world. Interestingly, over 70% of these games have strategically targeted either the US or global markets. Diving deeper into market segmentation, 30 games are earning from diverse global markets, while 28 are US-centric. The Japanese and Chinese markets have 12 and 9 dedicated games respectively.

In terms of genre popularity, strategy and RPG games lead the pack. These categories, since their debut in 2019, have seen 17 and 20 releases respectively. Their potential is further underscored by their impressive average annual revenues, clocking in at 7.9 billion USD for strategy games and 7.2 billion USD for RPGs.

Furthermore, in a bid to maintain their top-tier status, these games are heavily investing in US market advertising. Case in point, Plarium Global's RAID: Shadow Legends shelled out an eye-watering 80 million USD in US advertising in just the past year.
