Fallout: London, an eagerly awaited fan-made mod for Fallout 4, is now scheduled for release on April 23, 2024, coinciding with St. George’s Day. This ambitious project promises to expand the Fallout universe by introducing players to the post-apocalyptic landscape of London, a stark departure from the series' traditional American settings.

The team behind Fallout: London has announced that the mod, though content-complete, requires additional testing time. This delay stems partly from challenges faced by team members residing in conflict-affected regions. "A significant portion of our team members come from a region affected by conflict which has understandably impacted their focus on the mod," the team explained in a social media statement. This situation led to a reorganization within the team, enabling them to catch up but at the cost of thorough testing.

Described as a "DLC-sized mod," Fallout: London offers a unique opportunity to explore pre-war European history and the impact of the Resource Wars on Britain's class-structured society. The team's decision to delay aims to ensure a robust testing process and a well-polished final product. Additionally, the new release date aligns with the expected launch of the Fallout TV series, heightening the anticipation among fans of the franchise.
