Trainwiz, renowned for his iconic Thomas the Tank Engine mods in Skyrim and Starfield, is venturing into new territory with the launch of his RPG, 'Underspace'. The game, now in Early Access, offers players a thrilling space exploration experience, heavily inspired by classic space games.

In 'Underspace', players navigate through an expansive, open-world galaxy featuring arcade-style dogfighting and 70 hand-crafted star systems. The game, touted as the spiritual successor to 'Freelancer', is set in a Lovecraftian universe populated with 20 unique bosses ranging from monstrous entities to cunning space pirates. It offers a single-player campaign with a compelling main quest, side missions, PvP, and co-op multiplayer modes.

Fans can experience the game's demo during the upcoming Steam Next Fest in February. 'Underspace' also supports modding, inviting players to unleash their creativity in this already vast universe.

'Underspace' is currently available on Steam Early Access, with its full release scheduled for April 10. In the meantime, space and RPG enthusiasts can revisit the classic games that inspired 'Underspace' or explore the best mods in Skyrim and Starfield.
