Bandai Namco China announced today the upcoming opening of THE GUNDAM BASE flagship store in Beijing's Wangfujing Yintai in88, located at No. 88 Wangfujing Street, Dongcheng District. This addition marks the fifth official Gundam store in China, joining existing locations in Shanghai's Zhengda Plaza, Jinqiao Lalaport, Shenzhen's Yitian Holiday Plaza, and SATELLITE Shenzhen Joy City.

Unlike online stores, THE GUNDAM BASE offers exclusive Gundam model kits and showcases a vast and diverse collection of assembled Gundam models for fans to admire.
Since its debut in 1979, "Mobile Suit Gundam" has become one of Japan's most iconic, enduring, and profitable anime series. Initially known as "Gundam" in mainland China, Bandai officially adopted the name in September 2017, after navigating trademark registration challenges. The new flagship store in Beijing further cements Gundam's legacy and Bandai's commitment to its Chinese fans.
