Throughout June, rumors had been spreading about an incoming collaboration event between Pizza Hut and Genshin Impact in China. On June 25th, it was confirmed by Pizza Hut when they posted on their official Weibo saying, “Yes, there will be such a collaboration”.

It reminds people of the previous collaboration event between Genshin and KFC, another giant restaurant chain, in 2021. KFC provided special meal combos for game enthusiasts with virtual codes and game-related products. The codes provided an exclusive glider and other in-game items within Genshin Impact. The meal combo package also had a unique design with two of the characters, Noelle and Diluc, from the game.

According to multiple leaked sources, Amber and Eula will participate in the Pizza Hut collaboration. There are photos of pads (probably mouse pads) with Amber or Eula holding pizza in their hands and dinner plates with the characters’ portraits on them. At this time, it is unclear if there will be in-game items associated with the collaboration and what they might be.

People also wonder if this event will be similar to the last collaborative event. In the KFC event, customers had to loudly speak the event slogan in order to claim the game-related products. Some found it embarrassing, while others say it was fun and they are well-prepared for it this time.
