According to the technology website Venturebeat, NEKCOM, the developer of the Showa American Story, closed an 8 million USD round of funding on July 19th.

Galaxy Interactive leads the funding of the Chinese game company NEKCOM. The report indicated that Ryan You, the co-leads of its Gaming Investment Division, will join NEKCOM’s board of directors. On Ryan You’s LinkedIn, he hinted the reason for the funding is the potential of the original IP Showa American Story, which combines Asian and Western pop culture. “The reveal trailer of Showa American Story is a much watch with already more than 50 million views globally!” Said Ryan.
