On July 25th, a screenshot was widely shared in Chinese game communities and social media. It was taken from a Bilibili video where the video host “looks perfectly like Tifa Lockhart herself”.

Tifa Lockhart is a fictional character from the RPG Final Fantasy VII. She has been compared to Lara Croft as an example of a strong, independent, and attractive female character in video games.
The video host is named “一个蟹蟹梨” who is focusing on live commercial content. Her face has many details in common with the design of Tifa Lockhart in Final Fantasy VII Remake. Someone tried to use an AI face swap to make a comparison video and it is hard to tell the difference between the original one and the swapped one.

Game enthusiasts soon swarmed into the original video and commented with their excitement. They were calling her “Tifa in real life”. The video soon had near to 1 million views while her average number of views was about 10-100K. Meanwhile, the number of followers jumped from 33K to 162K in one day.
On July 26th, “一个蟹蟹梨” shared a moment to thank the support and likes. She said she was not familiar with video games and that it would take some time to understand them. She will keep on making live commercial content and hope everyone could pay more attention to her content. People comment with encouragement and advice under it.
