A Glitch Allows Chinese Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links Players Can Summon Their “Fist” In Attack Mode

Recently, an update of Chinese Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links brought an interesting bug.

Smashing Ground, a spell card that will destroy the highest DEF monster the opponent has, should normally be placed in the Spell & Trap Zone. However, in the Chinese version of Yu-Gi-Oh Duel links, a glitch caused this card to be summoned as a 0 ATK/0 DEF monster.

Since the illustration on this card looks like a fist, and “summoning fist” is a rather infamous meme among Yu-Gi-Oh fans, it’s not difficult to understand the excitement players felt.

There are quite a few players using this glitch to taunt their opponents, and the publisher of the game, NetEase, is now fixing this issue. All players will be compensated with 500 gems, but some of them must prefer the glitch staying to receiving 500 gems.
