On August 11, the Television Academy announced Juried Winners for the 74th Emmy Awards. Arcane got three awards for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation, referring to three episodes: “The Boy Savior” (Anne-Laure To, Color Script Artist), “Happy Progress Day! (Julien Georgel, Art Direction) and “When These Walls Come Tumbling Down” (Bruno Couchinho, Background Designer).
Three Emmy Awards for Arcane
The awards in the Juried Categories are decided by a panel of professionals through open discussions and voting. There is no nomination and the panel can give out multiple awards or have no works awarded.
The juried awards for Arcane will be presented at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony on September 3 and 4. Still, Arcane will compete against Rick And Morty, the Simpsons, Love Death + Robots and other hit shows for two nominations: Outstanding Animated Program and Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series.
