On September 5th, the official Weibo of Amap, the biggest map app in China posted a puzzle hinting Paimon will be the next Genshin Impact collaboration GPS voice navigator.
The puzzle in Weibo says the next voice navigation character loves Mora, Sticky Honey Roast, and giving nicknames to others. It also hinted with one of Paimon’s iconic lines: “How about we explore the area ahead of us later?” which will be triggered when the player is out of bounds.
A screenshot from the event page on Amap shows there will be a lottery event with 100K Primogems.
Amap has two existing collaboration characters with Genshin Impact: Klee and Jean earlier this year. Since Paimon acted as a guide and navigator in the game, it makes people keep wondering whether Paimon will be a GPS navigator on Amap someday.
