The ceremony of Japan Game Awards: 2022 Amateur Division has revealed on September 17th at TGS 2022. All non-professionally produced games, regardless of their applicant's status (juridical entity, organization, or individual), are eligible for the awards. The keyword of the 2022 Amateur Division is “Sense of Touch(感触)” and 455 games have applied for the prize. After two rounds of selection, 10 games remain in the finalist.

HagaLegacy, a 2D horizontal adventure game that pays attention to the “feel” of peeling off a seal on the stage won the Grand Award. 4 other games won the Award of excellence and the rest as honorable mentions.
