The highly anticipated 2D action roguelike, Have a Nice Death, is officially out and ready for players to dive into. Developed by indie studio, Monster Tooth Studios, Have a Nice Death puts players in the shoes of an overworked Death, whose employees have thrown off the balance of souls and ruined his vacation plans. It's up to the player to restore order in the Inevitable Time Department by showing their employees who's boss.

After a successful early access journey, the game has now been released in its full 1.0 version. This release includes the addition of the eighth department, the Inevitable Time Department, complete with a new boss, mini-boss, enemies, and the end of the storyline. The game also features "quality of death" improvements and much more.

Players will explore the procedurally-generated departments of Death Inc., meeting a diverse cast of memorable characters along the way. With over 70 unique weapons and spells to discover and upgrade, players can create devastating combinations to take on the numerous minions and bosses in each department.

Since Death can't die, players can use what they've learned and earned to overcome obstacles and progress on their journey. With a performance review after every run, interesting items and upgrades can be unlocked to help players on their quest.

However, taking more power for oneself is a controversial move in Death Incorporated's company culture. Adopting a Curse upgrade for oneself may result in the Labor Inspector granting subordinates enhanced powers, or worse, raising the cost of vital items like koffee.

Have a Nice Death is a darkly-charming and addictive game that offers endless replayability. With its unique concept and engaging gameplay, it's definitely worth checking out.
