On April 19th, Crossfire: Legion, the RTS game based on the famous Chinese FPS game Crossfire, announced on Twitter that it had delayed its Early Access from April 26th to May 24th.

Crossfire: Legion tells the story of a near-future human world where a military conflict caused by the military corporations Black List and Global Risk is gradually destroying human society. In the midst of this protracted war, a mysterious third party joins in hastening the destruction of the world. As troop commanders, players must control their own troops to save the world and extinguish the ambitions of these three military corporations.

As an RTS game based on the Crossfire story, Crossfire players will be very familiar with some of the units they find in Legion. Players can expand their technology and defeat the opponents from three different areas: land, sea and air, with the faithfully recreated infantry units and military vehicles from Crossfire. According to the official trailers released, the game may have Crossfire story-related heroic special units for players to choose from and play.

Legion has a story mode and a PVP mode for players to choose from. You can either join with your friends and together fight the well designed AI enemies, or you can instead fight against other players and raise your rank.

Legion's developer Blackbird Interactive has produced several popular RTS games before, and while making Legion, Blackbird's new RTS game Homeworld3 will be released in late 2022.
