On June 14th, the mobile RPG game Manasis Refrain announced that they will cease service on the Japan server on September 9th, 2022. However, the Chinese server had just been released on June 8th, one week before the shutdown in Japan, making players worried about the future of the Chinese server.

The Japan server was released on October 22nd, 2021. The game was developed by INUTAN Studio and published by Level Infinite in Japan. And it was the only oversea release at that moment.

INUTAN Studio, the developer of the game, later shared an image on Twitter and Bilibili with a logo of “Manasis Refrain Relink” and a line “to be continued” hinting the game will have a reboot release in the future.

Developers mentioned on Bilibili that “they have reclaimed all regional operation rights of the game”, “are recruiting more personnel” and “have enough contents in hands for constant update of at least one-year-long operation.” Boss Zhipin, the largest online recruiting platform in China shows there are 48 jobs available in the INUTAN studio.
