In yesterday’s semifinals of the 2022 Icons Global Championship, the third-seeded NV defeated the top seed FPX 3:1. In the upcoming Finals, NV will face the winner between JT and TF.
In detail, in game one of the match, at 13 minutes, four champions from NV tried to gank FPX 0711 on the top lane, which immediately turned into a team fight where NV managed to kill two of FPX’s champions. Five minutes later, NV aced FPX, allowing them to secure victory in this round.

In game two, NV once again fully controlled the pace of the game, and at 16 minutes, they took out four of FPX’s champions while only losing two. Seven minutes later, NV destroyed FPX’s base.
FPX was able to turn things around in game three, but winning that was not enough, and, in game four, at 27 minutes, NV killed four champions from FPX in a team fight and destroyed NV’s base through the top lane.
The Finals of the championship will take place at 2:00 am on July 9th PDT.
