In yesterday’s semifinals of the 2022 Icons Global Championship, JT defeated Team Flash (TF) from Vietnam and has advanced to the Finals of the championship. They will face NV on July 9th.
In detail, in game one of the match, TF had an initial advantage in both kills and gold. However, one of the pivotal moments took place at 14 minutes, when JT killed four champions from TF in a team fight near the mid lane. Soon after this, JT secured Baron, which gave them the buff and helped them take the win in this round.

In game two, again, JT was not favored in the beginning, but they turned things around at 10 minutes when they killed three champions from TF near the Dragon’s pit. In the end, JT Cherry surprisingly stole TF’s base.
In game three, JT completely controlled the pace of the game. By the 10-minute mark, JT had already led in gold by 8k. The gold gap was extended to 12k at 16 minutes. Following that, JT destroyed TF’s nexus and won both the game and match.
