The Sword and Fairy 1 means a lot for many Chinese RPG players, it is the first RPG they ever played and it is still considered the best title among the Sword and Fairy series by many. On July 8th, the 27th anniversary of the Sword and Fairy series, the Sword and Fairy 1 VR was announced and would be released on July 15th.
The VR version is made by Immersive World, a VR experience park, as their new product. Players can visit their parks all around China and try this new game after July 15. On the official website of the Immersive World, the game length is about 30 minutes and they will provide a new storyline with an exclusive good ending for the VR version.

The enthusiasts of the Sword and Fairy series shared their expectations and joys about the VR version. Some are hoping the VR version could be available on PC so that they could experience it at home with their VR headset. Some others are questioning will it be possible for a full game 3d remake in the future.
