Bandai Namco will release the new Gundam mobile game Gundam U.C. Engage on November 30th. The game is a free-to-play 3D strategy game with automatic combat. It allows users to design their team utilizing different combinations of “mobile suits” and pilots.

The main gameplay mode will be a 6v6 battlefield with fully automated combat. Players can change the formation or strategy before the battle starts. The 3D graphics look fine and there will be some intense animation cutscenes when a character uses their powerful “EX skill”.

The game not only has 3D combat, but it also reproduces the anime’s classic scene into a 3D real-time cutscene in Story Mode. It will help newcomers to Gundam learn the series and fans can relive their favorite moments again.

Like the title “U.C.” indicated, the game focuses on the “Universal Century” timeline. It will contain main titles from “Mobile Suit Gundam” to “Mobile Suit Victory Gundam”. It is a little sad that we are not able to see the popular stories from Wing Gundam or OO Gundam since they are in different timelines. But in return, there will be exclusive content like the manga “0079 Nightmare of Solomon” and “Mobile Suit Moon Gundam” being seen in animated form for the first time. For dedicated Gundam fans, this game is certainly hard to resist.
