Thymesia, a souls-like action game developed by Over Border Games, will release on August 18th. In the game, players will play as a mysterious character known only by the code name "Corvus", who wields the power of disease and seeks the truth found in his own memories that have been scattered throughout the world.
Thymesia offers fast-paced combat with an interesting system: the players must use weapons to deal wounds to the enemies first and then use claw attacks to convert the wounds into actual damage. Furthermore, special plague weapons can be taken from bosses and other enemies and used to give your enemies a taste of their own medicine.
At this moment, Thymesia has a 70/100 critic review score on Metacritic, and Game Spot gives it an 8/10.
