The Finals of Ionia Cup 2022 for League of Legends: Wild Rift was held yesterday at a campsite in Moganshan, in eastern Zhejiang Province. In the end, NV was crowned Champion after the final battles against TT and OC.
This is the first Ionia Cup tournament, where 22 teams from WRL and the secondary league WRT participated in a series of matches that lasted for approximately one month.
In the closing moments of the tournament, NV held the match point and was fighting against TT.
In the Bo1 match, at eight minutes, NV Long triggered a team fight near the Dragon’s pit while his teammate Yami on Galio launched a flash, catching TT and disturbing their lineup. This allowed NV to quickly kill two of TT’s members without much loss.
In the last team fight, NV aced TT while losing only one member in the river and led the minions to destroy TT’s nexus at 19 minutes.
After winning the match, NV became the first team to reach four points and was crowned Champion of the Finals. NV Long earned the MVP Award for the Finals. Congratulations!
