Worlds 2022 Groups Day 5: EDG Defeated FNC 1:0, T1 Beat EDG 1:0

Six matches were held today in the Group Stage for League of Legends 2022 World Championship (Worlds 2022). In the end, in the matches against C9, FNC, and T1, EDG had two wins and one loss.

In detail, in the match between C9 and EDG, EDG completely dominated the pace of the game with the excellent performance of ADC Viper and Support Meiko. At 21 minutes, EDG aced C9 and secured an easy victory in the match.

Then, when facing FNC, EDG continued their momentum. At five minutes, EDG's Junger Jiejie and Mid Laner Socut ganked FNC's Viktor in the mid-lane.

Nine minutes later, EDG killed Nautilus, who performed in an overly aggressive manner, allowing EDG to expand their advantage. After that, EDG didn't give FNC much chance and took the win in the match.

Between T1 and EDG, T1 Zeus saw a considerable advantage against EDG Flandre on Maokai in the top lane. Besides this, on the bottom lane, T1's Kalista and Soraka demonstrated powerful healing abilities and applied great pressure to EDG. In the end, EDG lost the match 0:1 and T1 Zeus earned the MVP Award.

Despite the loss, EDG has entered the tournament's next stage as the runner-up of Group A.
