It has been a nightmare for RNG fans since word came out that the RNG DOTA 2 team tested positive for COVID-19.

Shortly after the star mid-laner Lu "Somnus" Yao tested positive on October 17, Daniel “Ghost” Chan Kok Hong, Yang “Chalice” Shenyi, and Hu “kaka” Liangzhi also tested positive for COVID-19 after two PCR tests, which made player Yap “xNova” Jian Wei and coach Xie “Super” Junhao two of the few people to still be negative.

With the severe health condition, RNG was eliminated by Entity 0-1 in the Lower Bracket.

However, after days of rest, RNG officials announced on October 27 on Weibo that the roster and staff have all recovered and tested negative for COVID-19.

Best luck next year.
