A new party AI drawing game AI: Art Impostor, started its early access on November 4th. The game is a combination of a party imposter game with AI drawing. But the game soon became hard and unplayable because the AI drew NSFW content.

AI: Art Impostor scratches the idea of party drawing games. The game will provide categories and themes for players, and each player should draw a picture based on the theme. There will be an “impostor” player who does not know the theme and must guess it. After everyone finished drawing, the players should vote the impostor out by checking everyone’s art.

The fun part is: in AI: Art Impostor, players do not need to draw by themselves. Instead, they will input prompts and let the AI draws for them. It won’t matter if the player is good at drawing in this game.

The AI would draw six pictures based on the prompt for one player to choose from each time. If the AI generated a picture that contained adult content, it would be replaced by an NSFW icon. However, some players faced an issue that all the options were NSFW, and, in some cases, all the players ended up with only NSFW pictures.

Currently, there’s no clear answer on whether the AI loves drawing lewd stuff or the detector is being too harsh and falsely identifying safe content as NSFW. The game service provider Craftopia tweeted that they acknowledge the NSFW art issue and are working on a solution. Meanwhile, they also faced a GPU shortage issue after the release.
