WRL Season 2: WHG Defeated EDG in an Upset 3:2, WBG Beat RA 3:2

Two matches were held yesterday in the Wild Rift League Season 2, where WHG defeated EDG in a nail-biting match by 3:2, and WBG defeated RA also by a close 3:2.

In the match between WHG and EDG, each side secured a victory after the first two rounds.

In the third round, EDG dominated the pace of the game with the excellent performance of EDG XZhang, who saw a considerable advantage in the top lane. In the end, EDG snowballed to a victory.

In game four, WHG quickly adjusted themselves. At 16 minutes, in a team fight for a Dragon, WHG’s Zed attacked EDG from behind, allowing WHG to kill three of EDG’s champions without losing much. In the end, WHG took the win and brought the score to a tie of 2:2.

In the decisive last game, at the 14-minute mark, EDG was leading in gold by 8k. However, eight minutes later, WHG’s Jax surprisingly stole EDG’s base, helping WHG secure a victory in both the game and the match.

Between WBG and RA, RA won the first two rounds. But in game three, WBG got back to form. At 10 minutes, WBG won a Rift Herald fight, taking out four members of RA. After that, WBG secured a victory in this round.

In game four, WBG maintained a massive lead the entire game and won the game once again.

Then, the two sides came to the decisive last round. At four minutes, four members of WBG ganked RA in the bottom lane. After that, RA failed to prevent WBG’s growing advantage in gold and ultimately lost the match 2:3.
