The final day of the PEL Spring Season 2023 Finals culminated in a thrilling event last Saturday, featuring six highly competitive games. The results saw Suzhou Tianba crowned as the Champion, having secured 119 eliminations and 226 points. The team was awarded a grand prize of 5 million CNY (~725,000 USD).
Shenzhen STE emerged as the runner-up with 94 eliminations and 204 points, while Beijing WBG secured third place with 96 eliminations and 198 points.
In detail, in game one, the Signal Circle was near Graveyard. RSG, TJB, and STE were in a 4v1v1. RSG Shandian (闪电) eliminated the last member of TJB, Lon9z, before proceeding to knock out SuNan, the final member of STE. In the end, RSG secured a victory in this round.
In game two, AG, VS, and STE were in a 3v3v1. In a chaotic battle, AG 15zy eliminated VS Shensensen (神森森), but STE YuYang knocked out AG 15zy and picked up a well-deserved victory for his team in this round.
The third game saw TT and NV, along with 4AM, as the last three teams remaining in a 3v3v1. In the closing moments, TT Ajie (阿杰) eliminated NV Order, while NV Paraboy was eliminated due to the shrinking of the Signal Circle. With three members remaining, TT earned the Chicken Dinner.
In game four, the Signal Circle was near Mylta. WBG, Tianba, and KONE were the last three teams remaining, all with their entire crew intact. Initially, Tianba Lingyu (领域) eliminated KONE 77H, giving them an early advantage. However, in the end, Tianba Lingyu was knocked out by the shrinking Signal Circle. Ultimately, it was WBG who emerged victorious in this round.
In game five, TT, KONE, and TJB were in a 3v2v1. In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, TT once again secured the Chicken Dinner, with the excellent performance of Ajie (阿杰) playing a key role in their victory.
In game six, Tianba Ydd used a throwable object to knock down his enemy.
In game six, 4AM, RSG, and ACT were in a 3v2v1. In a tense and exciting battle, 4AM 33Svan eliminated RSG Gezi (格子) with the help of 4AM QingChen, securing a victory for their team in this round.
With a remarkable accumulation of 175 points from the previous matches, Tianba emerged as the Champion with an impressive 119 eliminations and 226 points. Tianba Tianyu (天宇) was also recognized for his exceptional performance, being awarded the MVP for the Finals.
As a result of their success, both Tianba and the runner-up, STE, will represent the PEL in the upcoming PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) in Riyadh on July 11th.
