Call of Duty fans are in for a treat as Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III gets ready for a worldwide release on November 10th. For the first time in the series, the game serves as a direct sequel, continuing right after the events of Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II.

Sledgehammer Games, with Infinity Ward, has crafted an all-new Campaign that's set to be action-packed with both cinematic experiences and free-form Open Combat Missions. Players will have more choice and flexibility in how they approach their missions.

Check out the latest gameplay trailer:

The Multiplayer experience celebrates the Modern Warfare series' legacy by modernizing all 16 launch maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). Additionally, over 12 all-new core 6v6 maps will be released post-launch.

Zombies are making a massive comeback as well, with Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) promising the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever. Developer Treyarch tells a new Zombies story with missions and many secrets to discover.

The Campaign, led by Captain Price and Task Force 141, faces the ultimate threat from ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov. The addition of Open Combat Missions (OCMs) brings even more player choice, allowing a flexible approach to objectives, from stealthy tactics to all-out assault.

The Multiplayer offers a mix of classic and modernized gameplay. All 16 launch maps from Modern Warfare 2 have been revamped, and new modes like Cutthroat provide fresh experiences. Four huge new environments are also ready at launch.

Innovative gameplay mechanics like Tac-Stance and After-Market Parts allow new customization and tactical options, evolving the quintessential Call of Duty gameplay. Players will also see the return of classic gameplay features like Map Voting and increased health.

Your progression from Modern Warfare II will carry forward into Modern Warfare III, with all weapons, attachments, and unlocks being accessible on Day One, while the all-new open-world Zombies experience takes survival to new heights, teaming players against massive hordes of the undead.

Preorders are now available, including Campaign Early Access, Open Beta Access, and the Vault Edition.
