Studio Wildcard has announced another delay for the Xbox Series X/S version of its much-anticipated game, Ark: Survival Ascended. Initially scheduled for a November 14th release, the game faced its first delay due to the ongoing certification process. While a later release in the same week was expected, the game is now targeting an early release this week.

This latest postponement stems from "unexpected issues" encountered during the certification process with Microsoft. The development team is actively working to resubmit the game build as quickly as possible and had planned to provide a more detailed update by the end of last week, which has yet to materialize. Studio Wildcard has expressed commitment to resolving these issues swiftly to ensure the game's prompt release.
In contrast, the PlayStation 5 version of Ark: Survival Ascended appears to be on track, with Studio Wildcard confirming its collaboration with Sony and partners for a launch by the end of November. The exact release date for the PS5 version will be announced once substantial progress has been made.

Built on Unreal Engine 5.2, the game promises stunning visuals and enhanced physics, alongside several quality-of-life improvements, although there are areas where technical performance could be enhanced.
