According to Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence data, Botanica Global's "Real Car Driving: Race City 3D" led the global mobile game downloads in October 2023, with over 19 million downloads. India emerged as the game's largest market, accounting for 26.4% of the downloads, followed by Brazil and Mexico with 12% and 7%, respectively. The game's success is attributed to its easy-to-learn controls and minimal installation size, making it highly compatible with mainstream Android devices in emerging markets.

Following closely behind is "Roblox," with nearly 18 million downloads, making it the second most downloaded game globally for the month. Brazil was the top market for "Roblox," contributing 12.8% of the downloads, with the United States and Vietnam following at 11.3% and 10%, respectively. The "Barbie DreamHouse Tycoon," a collaboration between Mattel and Roblox, piqued player interest thanks to the popularity of the "Barbie" movie, making October the fifth-highest month for downloads this year.

Other games in the top five included Garena's "Free Fire" (including "Free Fire MAX"), Miniclip's "Subway Surfers," and SayGames' "My Perfect Hotel."

The total global mobile game downloads on the App Store and Google Play in October 2023 remained steady at 4.08 billion. India led the market with 759 million downloads, comprising 18.6% of the global total. Brazil and the United States followed, contributing 8.6% and 7.8% of the downloads, respectively.

"Ramp Car Games: GT Car Stunts" also topped the download growth chart for the month. The significant optimization updates led to a surge in downloads, reaching nearly 14 million and marking October as the highest download month since its release. This achievement underscores the potential of racing games in the global mobile game market.

Two new games made impressive entries into the download growth chart in their launch month. "Gacha Life 2," the latest installment in the Gacha series, was well-received by existing players for its enhanced character customization, achieving over 7 million downloads in its first month. "MADFUT 24," a globally popular football and card collection mobile game, dominated the UK iPhone game downloads for 13 consecutive days post-release and remained in the top five for the rest of October.

In contrast to high-stakes rescue games, "RagdollBreak" offers a stress-relieving experience by targeting the destruction of ragdoll models. With its simplistic art design, gameplay, and comical ragdoll movements, the game saw a steady monthly increase in downloads. The addition of new levels in October led to over 6 million downloads, marking it as the best-performing month since its launch.
