Indie developer Spoonful Of Wonder has released a demo of their cat adventure game, Copycat, available on Steam for PC. The game weaves a touching narrative of a cat named Dawn, who becomes a stray after being replaced by another cat identical to it.

Dawn was initially taken in by an elderly woman mourning the loss of her beloved pet. As they gradually bond, Dawn starts to open up. However, when the elderly woman is suddenly hospitalized, Dawn is left behind, losing its place in the home. Upon the woman's return, Dawn finds itself replaced and is forced to wander the streets, hoping for a reunion.

Copycat invites players to explore an Australian town from a feline perspective, navigating homes, alleys, and rooftops. Players will make choices on whether to observe their surroundings or hide, experiencing the demo that starts with Dawn's encounter at the shelter and ventures through scenes filled with a melancholic yet beautiful ambiance.
