Chinese short video platform Kuaishou has secured the rights to broadcast ESL CS:GO, according to media outlets.
Chen Tianhua, the Vice President of Kuaishou Games, said: “The deal of the ESL broadcasting rights shows Kuaishou’s confidence to make quality esports content, and it’s also key to opening the market of the core esports users.”

This is a bold step for the social platform, which gained its initial popularity from viral videos about rural life in China. In recent years, it has experienced slower growth due to the lack of new revenue stimulators.
Kuaishou has held two Game for Peace Kuaishou International Invitational tournaments and the Kwai Legends Cup.
It has also invested in esports team KSG, a team for Honor of Kings competitions.
