Today, Softstar Entertainment Inc., a game development studio known for the classic RPG series The Legend of Sword and Fairy, has announced that their upcoming horror game, The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation, will release on August 25th. The game is priced at 7 USD on Steam in the Chinese region.

Based on the thriller movie with the same name, The Bridge Curse is a first-person horror game over the backdrop of supernatural stories being played out in a school. It tells the story of six students who encounter ghosts at the school's "boldness test party", along with fear, unease, and youthful humor.
The core gameplay lies in the chasing part, and players need to try to escape or hide from the ghosts while collecting props scattered all over the map to survive.

About the story part, in addition to the two new characters not included in the film, The Bridge Curse also added many new stories based on urban legends to increase the sense of immersion and horror.
