The match between eStarPro and GK was held yesterday in the Semifinals for the 2022 Honor of Kings Challenger Cup, where eStarPro crushed GK with a clean sweep of 4:0.
In game one of the match, initially, the two sides were closely matched. But at nine minutes, eStarPro’s Liu Bang killed the ADC and Support from GK, allowing eStarPro to snowball to a 7k gold lead following that. In the decisive last team fight, eStarPro managed to ace GK and secured a victory comfortably in this round.
eStarPro Tanran earned the MVP Award in game one of the match.
In game two, neither side gained the upper hand before the mid-game. Following that, in a crucial team fight, eStarPro killed four members from GK while losing only two, allowing them to gain the advantage in the round and win in the end.
In game three, eStarPro continued their momentum. At three minutes, they invaded the jungle area of GK and took out three members while losing only one. In the decisive last team fight, eStarPro Ziyang achieved a tower dive kill against Ying Zheng, helping his team win and gain the match point in this round.
In game four, eStarPro had unshakeable control of the game once again, and in the end, won both the game and the match 4:0.
This marks the fifth time that eStarPro has advanced to the Finals of an Honor of Kings competition this year. They will face the winner between WB and MTG and compete in the Finals on October 6th.
