Worlds 2022 Semifinals: T1 Knocked Out JDG 3:1

The match between T1 and JDG was held yesterday in the Semifinals for the Worlds 2022. In the end, T1 beat JDG 3:1 and advanced to the Finals.

In detail, in game one of the match, there were initially several skirmishes in the bottom and top lanes, where the two sides were closely matched. Following that, neither side was able to gain the upper hand. Then, a turning point occurred at 39 minutes, when JDG secured a Dragon kill and decisively went to destroy T1’s nexus. In the end, JDG took the win in this round.

In game two, T1 got back to form. One of the pivotal moments occurred at 16 minutes when T1 Gumayusi on Lucian launched an incredible ult and killed JDG Hope on Aphelios, allowing T1 to disturb JDG’s tempo completely. Following that, T1 snowballed to a victory.

In game three, JDG failed to counter back T1, especially in the mid and bottom lanes. At 31 minutes, T1 aced JDG and secured a victory in this round.

In game four, Faker took out his trademark Azir, and T1’s Support Keria on Renata also did a brilliant job. T1 dominated the pace of the game and in the end, took the win in both the game and the match.

T1 and DRX will compete in the Finals on November 6th.
