The game allows players to pick a Faction among Gondor, Rohan, Lothlórien, Erebor, Mordor, Isengard, Angmar, and Rhûn. Players will also be able to design their very own ring, with various materials and stones to choose from. Throughout the game, players will mobilize their own settlements and armies with the goal of conquering neighboring tiles to acquire more resources. Tiles range from basic items to Control Points, which give the players control of an entire region.
NetEase has earned a lot of attention this quarter. Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, another mobile game that builds on a successful franchise, has gained very positive reviews and already generated $22.7 million in sales for NetEase. With the strategic partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, NetEase is likely to create additional games based on established franchise.
